Significant increases are available from as little as 2000 rpm. This is due to completely remapped ignition and fuelling which affect the engine performance even before the turbo has started to provide positive pressure.   The figures shown in the table include using a Magnex CAT-back System, standard air filter and 97 octane fuel. The results are extremely impressive and further enhance the torque and power. All ECUs will be remapped to run on 97 octane fuel.

Another extremely important feature of the EcuTek ECU conversion is that the work we carry out to re-programme the ECU means that it can be further re-programmed at any time in the future to take into account any other modifications which you may want to do in due course.   The cost of the EcuTek ECU conversion is £550.00 (£646.25 inc.VAT) and includes full dyno testing. It can be carried out on Evo's V to IX. If your car already has other performance parts fitted then we can get the very best from it with complete safety.   Further mapping once we have modified your ECU can be carried out at any stage at a cost of £250.00 (£293.75 inc.VAT).

This Power Pack has all the features above but adds ARP con- rod bolts, a high-flow fuel pump (a necessary addition that has more than twice the fuel flow capacity at the very high fuel pressures the engine demands at high revs) and a boost controller. This diverts pressure away from the turbo actuator to achieve higher boost and features four programmable channels, each of which can be programmed with an individual boost setting to suit driving conditions or styles.   With this Power Pack you can expect a total power output of 350bhp/320lbft.

Power Pack 3 adds a set of Piper camshafts offering substantial gains in power levels and a broad useable powerband throughout the RPM range, with little compromise in driveability. The Oil Breather Kit cleans the oil-laden fumes in the engine so that it is only fed with clean air, and is a must on powerful cars.   The Water Injection Kit is a method of reducing the intake charge temperature as well as slowing down the flame front within the cylinder. The effect of this is to effectively retard the timing, eliminating detting and helping protect the engine.   With this Power Pack you can expect a total power output of 370bhp/340lbft.

AIR FILTERS - BLITZ INDUCTION KIT   The Blitz air filter is one of the best performing and best looking automotive air filters money can buy. The entire filtration element is made from a fine stainless steel mesh, which means the filter never wears out, and has substantially less restriction than any other filter. The same fine mesh in the top of the filter further improves the amount of air it can flow. All of these features mean Blitz air filters are capable of releasing more power than any other filter available. This complete kit includes all the necessary pipework, brackets, adapters, etc. and can give power gains of up to 12 BHP.

AIR FILTERS - BLITZ PANEL FILTER   The Blitz panel filter will improve the breathing of your car, allowing extra horsepower to extracted from your engine. It fits straight into the standard airbox, improving airflow whilst still providing high levels of filtration

SILICONE HOSES - TURBO HOSE KIT   This 7-piece turbo hose kit from SFS is suitable for the EVO V and VI. It includes the intercooler inlet and outlet hoses as well as all the other high pressure hoses on the car. The intercooler hoses require removal of the front bumper.   Manufactured in the UK with triple weave high pressure kevlar sheathing the hoses are finished in high temperature silicone and are available in red and blue.

SILICONE HOSES - COOLANT HOSE KIT   To compliment the seven piece high pressure silicone turbo hose kit, we offer the same high pressure hoses for the cooling system (also suitable for the EVO V and VI). This four piece kit is a direct replacement and is recommended with the high pressure radiator cap.

TUNING ACCESSORIES - EXHAUST MANIFOLD HEATSHIELD   Even more effective than the standard one and much better looking. This Spec-R heatshield keeps under-bonnet temperatures and therefore intake temperatures down. Available for EVO V, VI and VII

TUNING ACCESSORIES - BAILEY DUMP VALVE   High-flow dump valves will reduce lag and stabilise boost control. They cause no running problems like some dump valves - they have no diaphragm to split and are CNC machined from billet aluminium and use nylon internal pistons with "O" ring seals. The Bailey dump valve also makes a nice sound on gear changing.

TUNING ACCESSORIES - HIGH-PRESSURE RADIATOR CAP   This radiator cap increases the pressure in the cooling system. As you will remember from school days, if you increase the pressure of the coolant you also increase its boiling point. It is recommended to use this in conjunction with the silicone hose kit for the cooling system.

TUNING ACCESSORIES - ENGINE BAY BOLT KIT   We noticed that many cars we were seeing from customers were starting to look untidy under the bonnet due to the fact that the plating was either corroding or coming off many bolts around the engine. We have rectified this by making a complete bolt kit for the engine using aircraft grade stainless steel socket cap head bolts.   The kit consists of more than 150 stainless bolts, flat and shakeproof washers. The picture to the left shows just how comprehensive this kit is -- there isn't enough room to show it all. It can be made with a screw in boss for a special dump valve or taken off to mount the standard WRC dump valve. If a screw in dump valve is required this must be ordered with the inlet pipe. ALLOY PRODUCTS - OIL BREATHER KIT   The Spec-R breather system is designed to reduce the amount of oil laden fumes going into the engine.   Engines generate fumes called "blow-by". This is pressurised gas which goes past the piston and oil control rings into the bottom of the engine. If this gas was not released it would blow all the engine seals out of the engine. This gas collects oil as it passes through the engine. On an Evo engine the fumes are passed up from the sump through vents in the block to the cylinder head. These oil heavy fumes are then sent out of the cam cover into the turbo inlet. The reason for this is that the oil in the fumes is then burnt to reduce emissions. The unfortunate side effect of this is that oil fumes induce knock so effectively reduces the octane of the mixture going into the engine and in extreme circumstances can cause detonation and engine failure.   With our oil separator/breather system the gas is passed through a tank which acts to remove the oil and only feed the engine with clean air. It features a proper oil separator canister with Aeroquip hoses and fittings and is a must on powerful cars. Available for EVO IV, V and VI.
