TUNING ACCESSORIES - LARGE AIR/AIR INTERCOOLER   The Pace intercooler gains its effeciency by having a larger surface area than the standard core. This gives two main advantages; it grabs more cold air from the front of the car, and the unit has much better air flow due to its larger capacity. TUNING ACCESSORIES - CHARGECOOLER KIT   For higher boost applications of 16psi upwards, the chargecooler kit features all alloy construction, reduced back pressure (due to unique design) and a heavy duty water pump. The kit has been tested to 30psi and keeps inlet temperatures down to 30 deg C. A power increase of 26bhp can be expected ('Revs' magazine, 1997). Kit comes complete and ready to install. Available for Escort RST S1/S2, Escort Cosworth, Sierra Cosworth 2WD/4WD and Fiesta RST.

TUNING ACCESSORIES - WATER INJECTION KIT   The Aquamist System 1 water injection system is a method of reducing the intake charge temperature as well as slowing down the flame front within the cylinder. The effect of this is to effectively retard the timing.   Best reserved for cars running higher boost. It eliminates detting and helps protect the engine. Available for all Fords with the exception of the Focus 1.8/2.0.

TUNING ACCESSORIES - PIPER CAMSHAFT KITS   Piper Cams are used by the majority of champions at all levels of motorsport. Lessons learnt here influence their designs in all other areas - including Fast Road. Two kits are currently available - the 285T1 and 285T2. Both feature an approx 285° duration and are top fast road cams for use in hot hatch and modified road engines. Kit includes all required components including items such as cam lube for initial running in and a timing disc for setting up. Both kits available for Escort RST S1/S2 and Fiesta RST, please note that the 285T2 camshaft is best suited for chipped cars.

TUNING ACCESSORIES - VERNIER CAMSHAFT PULLEYS   Allows quick, perfect setting up of your camshaft ensuring that you get the very best from your cam. TUNING ACCESSORIES - FOCUS CENTRAL THROTTLE BODY (for Focus 1.8/2.0)   Purchase this 65mm throttle body and bolt on to see an instant power improvement! The body and linkage are completely CNC machined from 6061 billet aluminium to exacting tolerances. The shaft is machined from stress-proof steel for increased durability. The 65mm butterfly is machined from virgin brass which provides a precise fit and function. It also has larger than stock, sealed bearings for smooth action. Installation is a fast and simple 20-30 minutes. Includes bracket required for automatic vehicles. Fits 1.8 and 2.0 models, available in three colours (black, blue and red).

CLUTCHES - AP RACING   Two high-performance AP Racing clutch kits are available - the Organic Clutch Kit and the 4-Paddle Clutch Kit. Both kits are suitable for all Fords with the exception of the Focus 1.8/2.0.   The Organic clutch kit is perfect for all Escort and Sierra cars. Although it has increased spring clamp pressure compared to a standard clutch, the design of the clutch diaphragm cover means that the greater pressure does not translate into a heavier clutch pedal. The clutch plate is a full circle organic plate and is not harsh like performance clutches, making it very suitable for everyday road use. A superb road clutch which is not heavy and will handle up to 220 bhp or 350 bhp, depending on the model (enquire for details).   The 4-Paddle clutch kit is designed for heavy duty and 'off road' applications the sprung centre cerametallic driven plate nevertheless affords some protection against drive line shocks. A rigid adaptor plate without cushion segments is used. The driven plate incorporates cerametallic pads which are designed to withstand the high temperatures associated with high energy input competition applications.

CLUTCHES - ALCON   Alcon's 6-paddle clutches have been carefully designed to allow precise modulation while at the same time providing a consistent biting point. The compact design and low moment of inertia (M.O.I) enable faster gear changes, reducing wear on the gearbox and improving speed of engine pick-up. In most sizes, the friction area exceeds that offered by other suppliers, thereby further reducing the wear rate and significantly extending life expectancy.
